• Designed and implemented a system that allows more than 20 high-end UNIX workstations to be combined in a distributed processing environment, enabling the production of more than 200,000 weather visualizations per day.
• Lead visualization programmer of the Aviation and Medium Range Forecast model data received from the National Center for Environmental Prediction.
• AFWA Intranet Webmaster duties included the design and maintenance of an organizational Intranet website and developing agency-wide web development standards.
• Designed and programmed dynamic web-based weather image viewing system known as "Product Image eXplorer" that allows a user to select, view, and animate any of the 100,000+ available 2-dimensional printable weather products.
• Responsible for the redesigning of the user interface of several prototype products including PIX, InteractiveVis5D, DynaGrads, and CrossGrads, and other web-based interactive weather systems.
